Information You Submit
Names, phone numbers, or addresses entered in a search form are sent to the provider that supplies the results. Fridley Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those searches. A contact message gives us only the details included in that message, which are used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting systems create ordinary logs such as IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate for security, reliability, and page-use trends. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How Technical Data Is Used
That information helps operate the service, address errors, measure traffic, and improve reference pages. We do not sell visitor lists or build individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers process logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic technical data described above. Information is disclosed when valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
Minnesota’s Consumer Data Privacy Act may provide rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain processing of covered personal data. Because this service retains very little, a request normally involves the contact mailbox and server logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Minnesota Government Data Practices Act records held by Fridley, Anoka County, or state custodians remain under those custodians’ classification and correction rules, not this policy.
